These 20 questions games are a fun, effective, NO PREP way to practice forming French questions. Click on individual game links for specific details on each version. This bundle saves you 50%.
These games work for any level as they are written in French and English. Want a real challenge for your upper levels or immersion students? Use the French only version!
Included with each game:
1 version with vocabulary written in French and English
1 version with vocabulary written in French only
Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and use it as a whole class activity.
Many of the words may be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice forming questions, but also to build vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words. After they’ve played the games a few times looking at the French-English version they feel more prepared to move on to the French only version.
One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.
The student who has chosen the secret word can answer using the following responses: OUI - NON - PARFOIS - RAREMENT - GÉNÉRALEMENT - PEUT-ÊTRE - CELA DÉPEND - PROBABLEMENT
Alternative game play:
To change up the game and to make it more challenging as well as practicing other skills, have the student who chooses the secret word describe it to others in the group. Instead of asking questions about the secret word, other students listen to the description and guess it.
This bundle is 20% off the regular price and includes four resources to help your students practice and master French reflexive verbs and daily routine vocabulary. Included are task cards that can be used in the present or past tense, a present tense dice game, passé composé dice game and my favorite game of all, a French Taboo speaking game that students love!

Regular French ER Verbs Conjugation Chains in 5 Tenses BUNDLE - Primary French
These literacy center or independent work activities for primary core French or primary French immersion are a fun, hands-on way for your students to practice conjugating 35 different regular French verbs in the 5 different tenses for a total of 175 conjugation chains. Each verb page has ten strips to cut out. The first one is for the student’s name, and the following nine strips are for conjugating JE - TU - IL - ELLE - ON - NOUS - VOUS - ILS - ELLES. The number of letters needed is indicated by the number of blanks provided to help students while learning or reviewing conjugations. You could put the verb chain pages in plastic baggies or boxes labeled according to tense and have them pick and choose what they want to work on. They’ll love hanging them up around the classroom!

I love the French verbs VOULOIR, POUVOIR and DEVOIR because they give our students the ability to start speaking French right away. I also love that they are so easy to use once you’ve had a little practice. This bundle includes my favorite lessons, exercises, games and activities to master what I like to call POWER VERBS. Some of the products in this bundle also include the verbs SAVOIR and ALLER. This bundle is meant to accompany you along teaching these verbs to all levels from beginners to advanced students. Click on the links below for complete descriptions of each product.
These 8 sets of 30 speaking questions are just right for students who need to practice the FRENCH VERB TENSES, and they are a perfect no prep speaking activity for busy teachers. Each set of EST-CE QUE questions uses the TU form with verbs in the various tenses. In addition to regular and irregular -ER, -IR and -RE verbs I've also included many irregular verbs. This bundle give you 25% off the regular price.
There are 8 sets of cards included, one for each of the tenses listed below:
Futur proche
Futur simple
Passé Composé
Present
Imperfect
Conditional
Past Conditional
Present Subjunctive
In order to avoid OUI and NON answers, each question also includes an interrogative word which is great practice in helping to remember what they mean and where they're placed in the sentence.
Since all of the questions are asked in the TU form, all of the answers will be in the first person singular. This is so that students can really focus and get used to using these verbs when talking about themselves and when talking to a friend.
Just cut out the 30 cards, punch holes in the spaces provided and attach the stack of cards with a key ring. It would be a great idea to print on card stock and laminate the cards before punching holes and attaching them. Super easy and no prep for years to come. Both black and white and color versions are included as well as a 2 page print out of the questions if you should decide to use them as a quiz or homework assignment.
I am a firm believer that repetition is key in learning a language, and that's why I've created many different versions of these speaking cards. All of the cards ask the same basic questions, but each time in a different tense. My students really appreciate the familiarity of the cards even when learning a new tense.
As your students learn more and more tenses you could easily create small groups, give each student in the group a different tense stack, and have them ask each other the same basic questions but in different tenses. That's a very effective review of verb forms!

French Daily Planner and Journal - Mon Agenda Quotidien - Full Year Program
Wouldn’t you love to have your students practice their French a little every day in a very personalized way? Here’s a planner - un agenda quotidien - that your students are going to love! C’est un agenda quotidien pour leur faire faire un peu de français tous les jours. It’s a good idea for everyone to have a weekly (or daily) planner to keep up with everything that needs to be done, and this way practicing French can be checked off as well!
So far there are 100 pages (50 if you print double-sided) which correspond to planners/journals for 50 days. If you choose to have your students do one per week, this can be a full year program.
Be sure to watch the video I made so you can see all of the rich material inside and I can tell you how I like to use this journal. You’ll see that I printed mine (double sided) on pretty parchment paper and turned it into a book that really feels like a journal, but plain white paper and folders to store them in work just as well.
Have a look at the preview to see what a few of the pages look like, the layout, and everything that’s included.
For example:
(4 choses)
